QUICKTIME MOVIES
The photo slideshows, recordings and movies at this website all are viewed or heard using Apple's "Quicktime" application. Quicktime is a universally recognized way of viewing such media on the internet. In order to see & hear the movies, slideshows and music videos YOU MUST HAVE QUICKTIME INSTALLED IN YOUR COMPUTER! If you don't have it, download it, it's free; click the Quicktime link at the bottom of this page and follow the instructions for installing Quicktime in your computer. After installing the latest Quicktime software INCLUDING "ActiveX", clear your web browser's cache, then download the movie again either by clicking on the movie's link arrow on the "Website Menu" page, or by clicking on the title located in the list above this document.

PHOTO ALBUMS
This website has been created by using Apple's .Mac software. The photo album links make use of the JPG (or JPEG) format which allows universal recognition of photos on computers throughout the world. You should have no problem viewing any of the Goulson Website photo albums. If you want, you can drag any of the photo images to your desktop (computer monitor) and either save them in your computer's family photo album or print them. For more information, click on the file "Internet Speed & Saving Photos".

WRITTEN DOCUMENTS
Website written documents are saved and downloaded as Adobe PDF files. If you don't have the Adobe Reader application in your computer you will be unable to view them. Click the Adobe link at the bottom of this page and download "Adobe Reader".

FAMILY TREE
I have used "Reunion 8" software for creating my family tree. It's a wonderful program that creates many different reports and graphic depictions and charts of relatives and relations. I have recorded over 1,500 names in my family tree, some of them go back to the 16th Century. Many of them, of course, are on my father's side of the family (Loose & Nitz), but most are on my mother's side of the family, and by far the greatest number of those are Christopherson & Goulson relations.

You can download the family tree from the "The Family Tree" link noted in the list at the top of this document and run the Reunion 8 program if you have a Macintosh. You can download a free demo or purchase the software (it will cost about $100 USD); just click on the Reunion 8 link at the bottom of this page.

If you have a different family tree program already installed on your Mac or PC, you can import data from my Reunion 8 file; first download the appropriate "ged" file located in the website menu item titled "The Family Tree". Double click the downloaded icon to decompress the file, then import the "ged" file data into your program. If you need help with any of this, please contact me by phone (952-476-5929) or email by clicking the "Send me a message" button at the bottom of this page.

HELP ME EDIT THE FAMILY TREE
After reviewing the family tree data, I would appreciate it if you would send me additional information about family members (names, addresses, phone #, email, birthday, etc.) so that I can update the data in the master copy of the Reunion 8 family tree file that is on the website so that others will have the latest & correct data available to them.

Thanks for your help and have fun with your family tree.

David Goulson-Johnson Nitz
