Welcome to the SIU Distance Administration Program

Other universities have led the way in distance learning while SIU has come limping along behind. Experts on web education may have discounted SIU but they will be proved wrong. They didn't bargain on SIU's major strength: its administrators.

SIU has a new integrated program in Distance Administration. The plan is to move the whole administration from all the SIU campuses to a single site in the Bahamas. A united administration will work wonders according to the Interim Vice-Administrator for Campus Liaison and Interaction. The faculty and students will all stay where they are and will receive united administrative input over the web.
