They are grouped into FX (effects), Music and Voice simply because that's how I kept them in sound suitcases.
Some of the samples seem odd choices these days, but they were chosen to go with with what were new at the time, like the scream for 'BadDisk' (floppy), "Now here's something we hope you'll really like" for system startup, and a variely of candidates for 'you made a mistake'. Some were inspired by the commercial 'MacPuke' which made appropriate noises when a floppy was ejected.
Newer sounds is currently a lone Quack, as requested, and supplied by 'Veggicide' from the 'X for Users' mailing list.
Some will be copyright, but the samples are small. If any copyright holder objects to them being here, I will remove them.
