One evening I went with two guys from McGill (Montreal) to the Namba (theatre and nightclub) district of Osaka

From the Namba subway station at dusk A roofed-over alley that's also a shopping mall The river runs through it Restaurants tend to have interesting signage More signage Our more modest restaurant; we ate on the 2nd floor Eating; sitting on the floor The area is big on neon The neon reflects in the river An odd building owned by a beer company (Asahi, I think)
