Thursday, October 14, 1999 --  (EASTHAMPTON) - Jean Ann (Dostal) Spencer, 61, of 15 PaulSt., formerly of Northampton, died Oct. 13 in Baystate Medical Center in Springfield.

Mrs. Spencer had worked as a billing manager for Northampton Area Pediatrics before retiring. She had previously worked in the medical library at Smith College.

Her husband, Wilfred Spencer, died in 1992.

She leaves her mother, Norah (Spafford) Dostal of Easthampton, with whom she lived; a brother, Edward Dostal of Livingston, Texas; and nieces and nephews.
