1. Ward Pound Ridge NY. Came across many skiers at the start.
Last gasp of winter (I hope).
Bright sunny day.
The Lookout over the Cross River Reservoir.
Rock ledge was covered in 4-5 foot icicles.
2. Greenwich. Trail is somewhere that-a-way.
These ladies were certainly nervous about me.
Small White Pine grove.
1st one to the boardwalk.
My 1st River Otter. He left cool trails in the snow.
Man made (1880's) Mead Lake.
3. Mianus River - I saw at least 1/2 dozen Anglers.
Invasion of the Pachysandra. Fallen Tree.
Mt Laurel were everywhere.
The start and end - Mianus River.
4. Ramapo Mt. - Foxcroft Estate. Built 1910, Abandoned 1940.

5. Sleeping Giant - View from the tower.

6. Tallman Mt. St. Park - Trail on old "berms" made in 1930's.
1st part of hike was on "Long Path" (300+ miles from NYC to Albany).
"Berms" were built to contain oil from tanks planned but never made.
