Beacon Hill '06

Matt and I took a shot at Beacon hill in May of 2006. Hardest hike (for me) since I moved east. Great rewards.

Started with this crazy staircase. Must have been a hundred steps or so. 1st cool site was this very tall waterfall. Rain came soon enough. North along the Hudson. East to the Hudson. We are pretty lost, cold and wet at this point. I almost called this hike the hike of the Red Salamander. They were everywhere. Top of Becon Hill. This was the power plant that pulled the incline train up top Matt and I. I'm sure he took some great shots too. Looking North West over the town of Beacon. Panoramic of the Hudson River.
