Four hikes in the winter of 05

1st-Squantz Pond CT. 2nd-Camp Smith trail New York's Hudson Valley. 3rd-Anthony's Nose-north part of Camp Smith trail. 4th-Up the backside of Sugarloaf Hill NY.

Squantz Pond - North of Candlewood Lake CT. Maples hanging on. South view of the pond and lake. Camp Smith Trail - south along the Hudson. West over Iona Isalnd - Bald Eagle land in winter. Bear Mt. Bridge and turn around point. I crossed several streams along the way to the nose. Bear Mt. Bridge from way up. Patch of Rhododendron (bet you couldn't tell). Destination: Looking north from Anthony's Nose. On the way to Sugarloaf Hill - The Castle. Just a rock. Looked neat at the time. "The View" from atop Sugarloaf Hill. Looking south.
