I hate it when they put down all that sharp gravel.

We stumbled upon a gaggle of bikes about midday on day two. Broken Bike.
We immediately decided to take his combustible fluids.

Mike on Dan's bike. Mike had electrical problems that he eventually got fixed.

Paul was amazing as he towed Paul's bike for over 18 miles!
I ran out of water early on day two and was pooped by midday. Nevada Aspens.
Paul's problem turned out to be a timing belt.
We took the "easy" way on day 3 but ended up behind these cows for 30 minutes.
Day 3 was one of my Favs. Great canyon in Oregon.

End of day 3. It is what it is.
Day 4 starts with about 14 gates. Darren opened 'em, I closed 'em.
I guess this part of Oregon burned last year.

Morning of day 5 takes us up past the snake river in OR.
Just past the town of... ready for this ... Cuprum, ID.
End of day 5 somewere in Idaho.

Day 6 starts with a ride Behind a pilot car. Road construction was taking place.
Lots of forest raod along the Lewis & Clark trail.
Mike helps Darren put on the correct rear sprocket.
Cool lodge at the end of day 6.
Darren saves poor squirrel from the mighty cat.
River dip before dinner. Brrrrr
Never been to Montana before. Paul, me, John and Darren prove I was there.

Last brothel to close outside of Nevada. 1978 or '88...can't remember.
Start of day 8. My bike does NOT belong down there.
I was NOT chasing Bambi as others would have you believe.

Johnny and I wait for Darren to return. Why...?
Cause Paul had a little mishap...
Darren took the truck driver to the nearest phone (10 miles away). All was OK.
