Rife/Crane
needs a good electrical contact with the skin - and that means some
form of contact pad. There are probably many different possibilities
here, but I've found that the "Compex" pads (pictured
above) work very well and seem to be easily available in the UK.
Compex actually make muscle stimulators which are used by professional
sports people to grow and tone muscle. By chance - they've
solved the same problem that we need to solve to get a Rife/Crane
unit working.
In the UK the supplier
I use for the contact pads is Bodycare,
and the web page for the contact pads is here.
The only other thing you'll
need is a way of getting the signal from the generator to the contact
pads. If you're using the TG1010 then I would recommend:
- a "BNC to 4mm converter" (RS part 112-2195) - pictured
on the left
- two "2mm to 4mm adapters" (included in the kit RS
part 434-2500)
- a few sets of 2mm leads with plugs at both ends (included in
the kit RS part 434-2500)
The 2mm leads plug
directly into the compex pads at one end and the "2mm to 4mm
adapters" at the other end. The "2mm to 4mm adapters"
plug directly into the BNC converter, of course (and you know where
to put that...).
