William Hung hits the iTunes Music Store.

In what appears to verify the fact that you don't need talent to get a recording contract William Hung is now availiable to download from the iTunes Music Store. His debut track "She Bangs" along with his pre-release album are availiable for you music pleasure. Both the CD and She Bangs are in the top ten downloaded albums/songs. At the time of writing, She Bangs is ranked 6th and CD is ranked 2nd in sales. Bugger.

Away with Floods! Away with the drudgery of working day tidal waves!

Unless something really big or really freaky comes to my attention, I will be devoting the rest of this week to preparing to move to San Francisco, I move on thursday, haven't even started packing!!!

Say Goodbye to BuyMusic.com

Spymac is today reporting that the online music seller BuyMusic.com will be merged into Buy.com.

"BuyMusic.com initially expected to sell one million songs per day – or 200 to 300 in the first year – according to estimates by founder and CEO Scott Blum. When re-interviewed in December, Blum offered no statistics, but did say, "We’re nowhere near Apple’s numbers."

Could this be a growing trend for online music stores trying to take a bite out of apple?
