The Military Members Apple User Group (MMAUG) is dedicated
to fostering a supportive, productive, and fun community
for users of Apple products who are associated with the
military services. This isn't your every-day Apple User
Group! It is tailored by its members and officers to serve
the special interests of the active duty, guard, reserve,
civilian, and auxiliary members of the United States Armed
Forces and their families.
According to Apple, user groups "offer benefits to everyone
— for people who are new to computers, people who are
veterans in the technology industry, and for everyone in
between." Most are organized geographically, but some are
built around common applications or interests.
