This cool little collection of MICHAEL RODEN illustrations was published by 3-D master RAY ZONE (who presented a Crazy Men Slide Show at the 1985 San Diego Comics Con). Specific contents:
cover untitled drawing of a Crazy Man
page 2 untitled collage [The Abduction]
page 3 untitled drawing of a Crazy man Würm (!)
pages 4-5 surrealistic untitled collage
page 6 untitled collage-drawing of a Crazy Man god
page 7 untitled collage-drawing [The Hanged Man]
page 8 untitled drawing (in collaboration with BOB X) (T.B.H.C. Sea Dog)
You’ll find the Crazy men infiltrating a lot of my artwork. They’re
part of a new era, using much less collage. Not that I have any regrets about
using montage in my comix. It’s just a new era for me. I used to want
an enigmatic feel from my comix. Now it’s more cartoony but still with
a surrealistic feel. Ray Zone calls it Americana Grotesque.
