pages 6 and 2     Strands of the Future

MR starts off this installment of Strands of the Future with an interesting editorial in defense of Synthesized music. He also reviews Dune by KLAUSE SHULZE (“It utilizes the synthesizer, of course, as with all of Schulze’s albums, but the addition of an interestingly produced violin blends a certain gypsy-like feel to the music. Only in this case the gypsies are definietly from outer space.”), and Nordborg by ADELBERT VON DEYEN (“The feeling is that of a march upon a vast stretch of desert, with the moon above highlighting the crests of the dunes.”). The MICHEAL RODEN logo is collage featuring a hooded man.
