I sometimes wonder how weird (albeit very cool) publications like this ever existed. Be that as it may, this is one amazing magazine. How could it fail? Tons of Godzilla articles and photos, not to mention art and comix (see below) and ads for amazing Godzilla stuff. Plus one of the coolest MICHAEL RODEN illustrations ever!

Totally amazing illustration of Godzilla playing guitar. This is one of the best MICHAEL RODEN illustrations ever. My one complaint is that it was reduced to such a small size for publication.

In addition to these two MICHAEL RODEN pages, this issue includes contributions by:

page 4     BILL GRIFFITH (Zippy Meets Godzilla)

page 6     XNO (Zombo)

page 6     SPAIN (Factwino vs. Armageddonman)

page 22     BRUCE N. DUNCAN (Hank and Hanna with Gawdzilla)

And if this were not enough, there is also (on page 15) the very funny What Godzilla Means to Me (short essays purportedly by GEORGE ROMERO, FORREST J. ACKERMAN, BOBBY RYDELL, and LARRY ‘BUD’ MELMAN) … and a half-page ad (on page 23) for AMERICAN LIVING (“the magazine that expands your mind”). This is one for the ages.
