The third issue of this rare (but always interesting) zine features a wonderfully gruesome MICHAEL RODEN full-pager:
page 1 MICHAEL RODEN I love the Dead!
The main attraction in this issue is this beautifully rendered drawing of ALICE COOPER’s severed head. This is probably the most gruesome drawing MR has ever done and is only one of a handful of actual portraits he has ever published.
Ain’t the Alice Cooper [drawing] wild! That’s what comes of going to such a degenerate affair as the Alice Cooper Concert in Dayton. It was a heavy dose of those younger people that you were talking about liking much heavier things like Death and Destruction than the more cosmic world of our past. Hopefully they can tune in on my (our) wave length too. I think so. They think it’s cool too. I’m trying to do a little bit from both worlds. MR: letter to DLC dated 11/23/86
This bright yellow issue also features swell drawings by BOB X, CHRIS BORS, and JEFF GAITHER.
