The MICHAEL RODEN illustration on page 2 is a very surreal collage-drawing depicting a meeting between a masked man and a weird tentacled creature. The back cover is an advertisement for ALIEN CARNIVAL COMIX … which (according to this ad) was originally intended to have “Color Thermograph” covers. Now that would have been very cool! Hand-lettered indicia are at the bottom of the back cover.
