THE LOOKING GLASS was a nicely produced fantasy and science fiction fanzine edited and published by BEN FULVES. Starting with this issue, it was sold together with the STELLAR FANTASY NEWSLETTER which was also edited and published by BEN FULVES. Cost was forty cents for both.
The Looking Glass/SFN … This was an odd spur off of T.B.H.C. Like
Rodney Dangerfield … “I couldn’t get no respect” from
Ben Fulves. I tried to friendly up all the time but he was so straight that
we just couldn’t get along. He wanted to start an organization with me.
I went along with it, out of ego I guess. But he kept asking me for more money
to print his mag. So I ended it. I wasn’t in all of the issues. I couldn’t
say for sure how many. Same goes for Artwork Showcase.
MR: letter to DLC dated 8/18/86
