“LSD Comix” was my idea. I wanted to do something daring. I had always tried to keep drugs out of my comix, so people wouldn’t think I was a drug addict and that’s the reason I draw the way I do. But I decided it was a self-imposed rule and I would break it. Still it doesn’t have the T.B.H. logo. As is the case with “Cartoon Brut” 3 I considered these experimental collaborations. But there’s really no reason that they shouldn’t have contained the T.B.H. logo.

This truly amazing multi-artist book was put together under the very capable direction of MICHAEL RODEN as yet another example of the absolutely boundless imagination of this underground genius. This beautifully crafted mini-comix consists of a series of twelve full-page illustrations that form a wordless narrative depicting a rather spectacular LSD experience. Contributors are:

This rare (for MICHAEL RODEN at any rate) foray into the LSD subculture is available in four color variants (all of which have white interior pages): blue, green, red, and yellow. This is a great book! Even if you’re not tripping.
