DRY ROT
8-page mini-comix

50 cents
This book was the only MICHAEL RODEN contribution to a rather extensive series of mini-comix produced by the late comix chronicler CLAY GEERDES. Pathologically serious collectors may want to note that DRY ROT was published in three color variants: one printed on pink paper, one printed on white paper, and one printed on yellow paper. Contents:
cover untitled drawing (Dry Rot)
Title logo with simple drawing of a chubby skull and cross-bones.
pages 2-6 The Skull
Loosely connected series of five full-page illustrations featuring skulls. A detail of the image on page 2 was issued as a button (see THRU BLACK HOLES BUTTONS for information).
page 7 Stay Away From Mr. A
Interesting collage-drawing that includes indicia and publisher’s logos.
page 8 untitled collage-drawing
A rather bizarre pelvis-creature that somewhat resembles the collage-drawing Dreaded Na-Hag (page 8 of THE BLACK BOOK). Yow.
Resource Notes:
Thanks to MICHAEL RODEN for providing copies of the pink and white variants
of this interesting mini-comix.
