page 3     untitled collage

This is one of several panels that were constructed around the anthropomorphic insect engravings of the great French caricaturist and illustrator GRANDVILLE (Jean-Ignace-Isodore Gerard). The astute observer will note the characteristic MICHAEL RODEN night sky and the imaginative combination of collage elements from diverse sources.

Other noteworthy contributions include:

page 2     DALE LUCIANO (untitled drawing)

page 4     BOB X (Dada Doze)

page 5     XNO (untitled drawing of a bizarro Popeye)

Resource Note:
Thanks to DALE LUCIANO for information and a copy of the Second Printing.
