Homasote Installation Complete for Now 


Installation of the homasote is complete and is ready for painting and sealing. 

I have finished installing all of the homasote from Lindenwood yard to the hidden return loop. I found a couple of depressions in the hidden return loop area, and have filled them with joint compound to level them out. I intend to just glue the track to the homasote in this area, so the homasote needs to be flat. Tomorrow I intend to paint the homasote the same color as the yard to seal it.



The next steps are to re-lay the paper CAD drawing back on the homasote in order to mark the edges for the cork roadbed, then its' on to track laying!
