What we do: i3DLab licenses the use of AM models developed for I/I from data. Simply provide us with your data, in whatever format is convenient (Excel, text, CSV, etc.), and we will develop, calibrate and validate an i3D AM model that fits your data.
What we need: We need flow, rainfall and air temperature data to develop an i3D AM model. The rainfall data must be collected near the metered sewershed in order to develop an accurate model. We can obtain our own temperature data from a nearby NWS gauge, if needed.
What you will get: Once an i3D model has been built, we will route historic rainfall and temperature data that you provide through the model and provide you with a license to use the output. We can also license to you an executable program that you can use to route any rainfall and temperature data set into the model. The output from the i3D AM model can easily be imported into SWMM for hydraulic simulation.
For complex hydraulics: For large and complex systems with incremental metering districts, hydraulic routing effects or travel time considerations, it will be necessary to integrate the i3D AM hydrologic modeling with a hydraulic model. We suggest that for those systems, we integrate with the modeling team of your existing engineering consultant so that the hydrologic and hydraulic modeling can be integrated.
Licensing fee: We charge for our services based on a licensing fee for each sewershed modeled. The licensing fee will vary depending on the quality of the data, number of years in the metered data set and the output desired. Please contact us for a quote.
