As a student of both art and science, it is my experience that a good illustration can be the difference between comprehension or misunderstanding, whether the concepts portrayed are complex or simple. My goal is to make my own humble contribution to the cause of scientific education and communication by providing my clients with illustrations that illuminate rather than simply decorate.
What is Bioscience Illustration?
My definition...
Graphic representation of biological processes, structures, or concepts on any level from the molecule to the biosphere. This includes chemistry, physics, mathematics, earth sciences, etc. as they relate to the evolution and daily existence of living things.
I hope to work with clients in a wide range of specialties, and to find continual opportunities to keep current on the scientific topics that you need me to be familiar with.
