King Leo VI

Born in 1342.
Father: Jean de Lusignan. Mother: Princess Soldane of Georgia.
Married in 1369 in Cyprus Margaret of Soissons (+before 1384 Cairo).
He was crowned with his consort Margaret in 1374 in Sis Cathedral.
Deposed and imprisoned by the Turks 1375.
From 1382 exiled in France.
Died in 1393 in Paris.
Buried firstly in the Convent of Celestines in Paris.
Following the demolishion of the Convent (1798) his tomb was moved in 1817 to St Denis Abbey, France.
His Queen Margaret was buried in St Martin's Church in Cairo.
