An Open Letter to Our President (#1)
by Ma

Dear Mr. President,
Thought I’d drop you a line. It is ten below zero here in the northeast!

Just wondered how you are. Are you warm? Do you have warm clothes and a place to sleep? Can you get medication and see a Doctor?

If your company fails and you’re out of a job will you have enough food for you and your family to last until you get another job? How are you sleeping Mr. President?

It must be hard to be the Commander In Chief of all the wonderful service men and women-- and have to decide on starting another war to end all wars—without combat experience. I say this because I sympathize with your problem. Being an 82 year old woman from a family of volunteers; whose great grandfather fought in the Civil War, grand father fought in WW1, husband a gunner in WW2, cousin died in the Bataan Death march, uncle fought in Vietnam and grandson is today in special services. I know sending our wonderful young people off to destroy a small country the size of California to kill or be killed is a hard thing to do. I wonder if those who come back will have health care?

Of course you know there’re closing down Veterans Affairs Offices all over this country, These Veterans all soldiers that served? That’s two bad, so what can our service men expect after we start a war? Oh yes – was bin Laden just a myth? Have we forgotten him and all the people who lost loved ones in 9/11?

Well enough questions Mr. President. Good luck getting the oil fields – somebody will make a mint. I doubt it will be anyone here in the northeast. That oil should really boost the stock market? You know the place where the elite gamble. We need to stop those bad guys from getting nukes like we have.

Again, good luck and stay warm.
Sincerely,
Ma

P.S. Don't pay any attention to those old liberals. They’re just looking for Peace, Jobs and healthcare. Bombs Away. Your Daddy will be proud!
