Lost explosives, deadly attacks in Iraq, oil prices, flu shots, unemployment...and we're still talking about The Bulge.
Bush joked about the bulge on national television this week, then claimed it was his shirt that caused it. Either he's wearing the same shirt to all the debates, or all his shirts suck.
A NASA technical expert who analyzes digital images tells Salon that Bush was wired.
Dr. Robert M. Nelson is a respected NASA senior research scientist at Caltech Jet Propulsion Laboratory and, according to Salon, "an international authority on image analysis" with 30 years of experience.
Said Nelson: "I am willing to stake my scientific reputation to the statement that Bush was wearing something under his jacket during the debate...this is not about a bad suit. And there's no way the bulge can be described as a wrinkled shirt."
