 I guess I'm coming to this party late. Triumph the Insult Dog made his appearance in Spin Alley after the third presidential debate, where he badgered spinners and journalists on behalf of NBC's Conan O'Brien.
My favorite moments:
Asking one Bush spinmeister "How painful was it when the doctor removed your sense of shame?"
Telling Ken Mehlman that "If President Bush took a dump on the stage...you'd say the president looked comfortable."
Asking Fox News Channel's Gretta Van Susteren for Bill O'Reilly's cell phone number.
Asking Joe Lockhart if he could "spin a woman into thinking you don't look gross in the shower."
And telling Karl Rove: "You're Bush's brains. I was expecting a much smaller man."
