I haven't been up late enough this past week to watch Letterman, but I guess I'm missing a good string. Earlier, Letterman showed video of a kid yawning while the president was speaking. Supposedly, the White House told CNN that Letterman had altered the video. Letterman denied that on the air.

Why didn't the White House think of that when Letterman was showing the infamous video of Bush hawking a loogie in the Rose Garden?

Update: Letterman will have this kid (who is the son of a GOP fundraiser) on the broadcast tonight (April 2). The is a good thing, White House spinners claim.
