According to a Reuters dispatch, the al-Queda-linked group claiming responsibility for the train bombings want Bush to win the election, because it would not be possible to find a president "more foolish than you (Bush), who deals with matters by force rather than with wisdom."
Apparently this group has a death wish.
The group claims that John Kerry would "kill our nation while it sleeps because he and the Democrats have the cunning to embellish blasphemy and present it to the Arab and Muslim nation as civilization."
The group also claims it has called off operations in Spain in order to see if the country does, indeed, withdraw its troops from Iraq, as the newly elected prime minister has promised to do. |
