Comcast rolls out On Demand

Comcast is rolling out On Demand programming services for digital subscribers in Utah.

The company has spent $350 million on the upgrade, which it describes as sort of a community TiVo. It will not record video, as TiVo does. However, viewers can stop, rewind, or access the program for up to 24 hours after they air. Comcast says it will be rolling out its own DVR later this year.
