Ana Marie Cox, aka Wonkette, made an appearance on CNN's Reliable Sources Sunday to explain herself. She's been running the Wonkette site for just a few months, but has already grabbed attention from the likes of the New York Times and the Christian Science Monitor. She's a former journalist with a potty mouth, a wicked sense of humor, and an ability to use reporting skills to disseminate gossip.
