Stock in Sinclair Broadcasting is up since the company decided earlier this week not to direct its 62 stations to broadcast an unflattering documentary about John Kerry. The company's television stations were at risk of losing advertisers and angering viewers until the decision was announced earlier this week.
Another good piece of news for the company: it's won an award! CJR is giving its first annual Ben Bagdikian Media Monopoly Award to Sinclair Broadcasting. |
