Darn liberal media - part two

The Washington Bureau Chief for Sinclair Broadcasting criticized his company's decision to air an hour-long program critical of John Kerry on 60 of its television stations the week before the election.

Jon Leiberman called Sinclair's action "biased political propaganda, with clear intentions to sway this election."

Sinclair's response was swift and should surprise nobody: They fired him.

Meanwhile, USA Today and the New York Times predicts significant drawbacks for Sinclair. The company's stock prices and credit ratings are dropping, presumable to match its credibility.

Speaking of firing journalists: Fox News is trying to do exactly that to the Andrea Mackris, the producer who has accused Bill O'Reilly have sexual harassment. As a LA Times media critic Tim Rutten writes, being Fox "means never having to say you're sorry."
