Cascades to Appalachians

This is a trans-continental video tour beginning at the Washington Cascade Mountains and ending in the West Virginia Appalachian Mountains. The video is 30 minutes and covers nearly 3,000 miles of United States geography. The itinerary begins in Washington, continues through Oregon, Idaho, a small slice of Montana, Wyoming, Nebraska, Iowa, Illinois, a brief stretch through Indiana, then a side-trip through Michigan for the Lake Michigan coast and central birch forests and continues along Ohio's Lake Erie shore and down the Allegheny Mountain's Western Front to Pennsylvania and finally ends in West Virginia's Appalachian Mountains.

The file is downloadable and plays much better on a local hard drive with Quicktime set for "full" screen viewing. Use the triangle on the right side of the controller to download the movie file. It's a 537.8 megabyte file, it should stream nicely, watch the progress indicator - the gray line in the controller, when it reaches the end of the file, you can download the movie using the triangle button.
