Photographs from Pioneer Square

A few photographs showing off Pioneer Square in the rain taken while I was downtown this past weekend to catch a few author's remarks at Elliott Bay Book Company.

The alley between Occidental and First Avenues, on the Main Street side, looking south. Saturday evening,
in the rain.

Looking south along Occidental Avenue from the intersection with Jackson Street.

Looking south along Occidental Avenue towards Qwest Field, topped by the dome lit up in blue.

A more romantic look at the same view.

Looking inside the architectural firm of nbbj on Jackson Street, one block east of First Avenue. The inset at the right is a different
perspective view of their inside brick wall.

A stylized view of the lighting canopy over the espresso machine area inside the Starbucks at the corner
of Occidental Avenue and Jackson Street. Late on a Saturday evening, about 20 minutes before closing.

Looking east along Yesler Way from near its intersection with First Avenue, deep in the heart of Pioneer Square.

The Smith Tower looming over Pioneer Square as seen from Occidental Park.

Three different views along First Avenue of the Bread-of-Life Mission, at the corner of Main and First. Left panel is approaching
from across the street, middle panel is standing on the corner, and right panel is leaving looking back from same side of the street.

Yes, this is a real private detective agency, one block west of First Avenue on Main Street, practically right
below the Alaskan Way Viaduct.

And, that's it for now.
