This is the fourth in what will be a continuing
series of podcasts - audio-to-go - from me as commentator. This one merely
cites the name change and gives a little background on what has driven me to
want to "talk" and be such a media geek. It's five minutes (5:13) and
represents probably the shortest MP3 I'll likely
publish.
I've decided to change the podcast name from
"Talks on Walks" to "Radio Free Redmond." For two reasons - first, I might
continue with the Olympus DM10 on walks and hikes, I like doing that, talking to
the air as I'm hiking about, but I don't necessarily want to be restricted to al
fresco audio and may set up a studio situation in the future. Secondly, I like
the sound of Radio Free Redmond a whole lot better than I like the sound of
Talks on Walks - they're both "sort" of alliterative but Radio Free Redmond has
a euphonic nature which is better than the conceptually better Talks on Walks.
But, hey, it's just a podcast. Recorded on July 1, 2005.
