Using the Canon Digital Elph in still image mode and taking snapshots every third-of-a-mile or so, this movie takes one along the spine of the Canadian Rockies from Jasper, in the north, to Banff, in the south, along the Icelands Parkway. Direct link to movie file is http://homepage.mac.com/credmond/IcelandsParkwayLowerQ.mov. This is one of the most beautiful stretches of mountain highway I've ever travelled. Both Jasper and Banff are park towns (inside their respective Canadian National Parks) and if you've never been to either, or Glacier National Park in Montana, please, please, do so. It will give you an unbelievably deeper appreciation for the fantastic planet we live on.
