A Bite from the Apple:
Apple has announced the shipment
of their single processor Power Macs G5. The Power Mac G5 is the worldÕs fastest personal computer and
the first with a 64-bit processor Ñ which means it breaks the 4 gigabyte
barrier and can use up to 8 gigabytes of main memory. The new G5 processor Ñ
available at speeds up to dual 2GHz with a new ultrahigh-bandwidth system
architecture featuring AGP 8X and PCI-X Ñ makes the Power Mac G5 a breakthrough
in desktop processing power. And models start at just $1999. Also with
these professional hardware computers arrives professional multimedia software
to complement these awesome machines! : Macromedia Studio MX 2004 with new versions of Dreamweaver, Flash and
Fireworks. Integrated tools provide all you need to build everything from
simple web pages to rich internet sites and multi-page printed documents. For
developers delivering rich interactive applications check out the new Flash MX
Professional 2004. DVD Studio Pro 2 provides three different workspaces to give you maximum flexibility.
The Basic configuration enables you to quickly
build a DVD, using styles and templates which you can modify. If youÕre
tackling a more elaborate project, the Extended configuration adds an intuitive
workflow with a timeline, Asset bin and Inspector. The Advanced configuration provides a complete set of professional features,
