Next Meeting:
A Bite from the Apple:
experiencias, dudas y hallazgos.
Unanse a nuestro

Tip: Finding the Right Tune
With iPhoto 2, adding a soundtrack to your slideshows is a model of integrated
efficiency.
In fact, even those of you who have thousands of songs or dozens of playlists
in your iTunes 3 music library will find it incredibly easy to find just the
right music to add. HereÕs how:
1. Select the album or photos youÕd like to include in your
slideshow.
2. Click the Slideshow button.
3. Choose iTunes Library or one of your playlists from the
pull-down menu.
4. Select the song.
Want to make sure youÕve chosen the right tune? Simply click the Play button
next to the song list to preview it.
iPhoto 2: now available as part of iLife.
Safari Tip: Enhancing the Bookmarks Menu
Click the Safari Bookmarks icon,
and youÕll find a treasure trove of websites already neatly organized in the
Collections pane. In the News folder, for example, youÕll find bookmarks for
some of the most respected online news sources. Kids will transport you to
Discovery Kids, PBS Kids, howstuffworks.com, and many other websites your kids
(and you) will enjoy.
So would you like to know an easy way to add the folders you enjoy the most to
the Bookmarks menu? HereÕs how:
1. Click the Bookmarks icon.
2. Click the icon for Bookmarks Menu.
3. Drag the folder youÕd like to appear in the Bookmarks Menu from
the Collections pane to the Bookmark column.
YouÕre done.
Need Help? It may be closer than you think!
Whether you have questions about
using Address Book, iPod, Mac OS X Mail, iMovie, QuickTime, Safari,
AppleScript, iCal, AirPort, iTunes, or other Apple applications youÕre using,
youÕll find answers in the Help menu.
Go aheadÑchoose Mac Help from the Help menu and try it out. Mac Help provides
handy answers to hundreds of the most common questions, including tidbits
specific to the Mac youÕre using. Need a helping hand? It even provides
automated helpers.
WhatÕs more, most developersÑFileMaker, Bare Bones Software, Palm, and
Microsoft, to name just a fewÑuse Mac Help to offer assistance with their
applications, as well.
Eject Disks From The Dock
Want to eject a Zip disk, CD, or
FireWire Drive from your desktop? Just drag it to the Trash icon in your
Dock, and as you approach the Dock, you'll see the Trash icon change into an
Eject button. When you drop your drive's/CD's/Disk's icon on the Eject
button, only one thing can happen-it ejects your disk/CD/drive.
Naming Toolbar Items Trick
For some reason, Mac OS X won't
let you rename any of your icons once they're in the Toolbar, so if you want
them to have different names, you'll have to either (a) rename them before you
drag them up to the Toolbar, or (b) create an alias of each item, give the
alias the name you want, then drag their icons up to the Toolbar.
