EDITOR'S NOTES - Since this book is primary quotations from Wesley, I have used text colors instead of block quotes to distinguish Wood's comments from the various quotations that he cites. I also added horizontal rules here and there to separate individual quotations. I have checked many the quotes but not all! against Jackson's edition of Wesley's Works and corrected them as necessary. Wood loved to use italics. He often put italics into the quotes to stress his own point. I have left these italics in the quotations (though I'm not too happy about them).
If any astute readers out there catch any mistakes, please let me know. I will correct this text as necessary.
Section 30 of this book is the complete text of A Plain Account of Christian Perfection. I know this text is available elsewhere on the Internet, but decided to include it anyway, because Wood's subheadings may make it easier to read and understand. It is presented here in 17 separate HTML pages.
BRIEF THOUGHTS ON CHRISTIAN PERFECTION
[This brief piece written in 1767 was not originally included either in "A Plain Account" or in Wood's book. It is added here for the sake of completeness.]
