CHRISTIAN THEOLOGY

BY

ADAM CLARKE, LL.D. F.A.S.

SELECTED

FROM HIS PUBLISHED AND UNPUBLISHED WRITINGS,

AND

SYSTEMATICALLY ARRANGED;

WITH A LIFE OF THE AUTHOR;

BY SAMUEL DUNN.

EDITOR'S NOTES: I broke up Dunn's Life of Clarke into eight sections and added a title to each section. In the Theology, I have included Clarke's subheadings in the Table of Contents. This should make the whole book easier to use, and it should make it easier to find Clarke's views on particular topics. It would have been really nice if Dunn had indicated the sources from which he drew these various materials, but he generally doesn't. I presume that most of it is from Clarke's Commentary, of course. Many of the chapters of Clarke's Theology are extremenly long — the reader should be warned! Those wishing to cut and paste text need to make sure they get everything since some of the longer chapters contain more than one text box.
