Second Thoughts
Arthur came over last night. We hung out and tried
to find someplace to eat. Christmas Day is an impossible day to go out to eat.
EVERYTHING was closed. Everything. We drove through the Mission, Noe Valley and
the Castro. Finally we found Cote Sub on 18th street off of Castro. There were
people inside and we got great parking outside. Things were looking up. It was
packed and we couldn't eat for 2 hours. So we grabbed Balance bars at Walgreens
(open BTW) and then sat at the restaurant drinking wine until I table opened up.
10 minutes later we were offered to sit at the bar. Its was great. The food is
great there. I got to know Arthur a little better and the night just flew by. He
slept over and we spent the whole morning inside. Finally grabbed Disco and went
to Dolores Park Cafe for breakfast and to the park for Disco's much needed
potty!
So, second thought? Yes. For one guy?
So soon? Yeah, I know, moving is the right thing for me right now. It was worth
meeting Arthur and maybe our paths will cross again in the future, but I've got
to go. Maybe if I met him 2 weeks ago (instead of just flirting with him at
parties for a couple of months), I might not have been so eager to get out of SF
and figure out what's next in NY. Second thoughts.
