U.S. officials raid stores,arrest 2 in game piracy
LOS ANGELES, Dec 8 (Reuters) - Federal authorities
raided three Washington, D.C.-area video game stores and arrested two people for
modifying video game consoles to play pirated video games, a video game industry
group said on Wednesday.

first I've heard about someone getting into trouble for modding xbox's. Of
course they were selling them in the store and charging an unreal $500 each.
So the question is, is it illegal to
take a part something you purchase? Illegal to violate the warranty? I guess
not, their charges were for conspiracy to commit copy right fraud.
