My Pitch for a 'Good News Hour'

Hey, could MSNBC's ratings do any worse?

Since I am getting an avalanche of hits, I would like to take this opportunity to make another pitch for a tv news show that is devoted to good news.

Could it really be that hard? And hey, I would like to pitch it to MSNBC, because really....could their ratings do any worse?

Anyhow, I have previously posted on this and given examples of what might work:

The Good News Hour
Much has been made in the Blogosphere about the MSM's inability, or perhaps lack of desire, to report on good news coming out of Iraq . We all know the axiom "If it bleeds, it leads...", it has been around for years at both the local and national level, and Iraq has proven it to still be true. That doesn't mean that the American people like being treated to this barrage of bad news.
I want my GTV
The MSM, Yep, they aren't Liberal....they are just NEGATIVE . At least about the Bush administration....
Good News Hour, Part III
Imagine a news magazine format with ~3 main stories a night along with other news. Each story would be long enough to provide substance, and avoid the pitfalls of 10-15 second sound bites. Lets look at tonight's episode.... Think of a positive 60 Minutes, where the premise was not to tear things down, but build things up......

So if anyone knows someone at MSNBC, have them give me a call.... Hey when opportunity strikes! ;-)
