** Administrivia **
Thanks to those who have linked to me, most recently Confederate Yankee. However, I do not want anyone to get the wrong impression... I am no longer deployed to the Middle East. I spent several months there in 2005, but am now home. The picture on the right is me in Baghdad next to a fine piece of vintage Soviet weaponry. I continue however to like the name of the blog, so I will keep it. And who knows, in today's enviroment, I could find myself back there in the near future....
