Into the Belly of the Beast


Sometimes you have to see things for yourself....

A good blog-friend Noah Shachtman, founder of the always valuable defensetech.org, is heading off to Iraq. After writing about future defense trends for some time now, Noah wants to see the technological impact on the troops in the field.

Noah's opinions on some things may be a little liberal for me, added to the fact that he is a Yankees fan and went to Georgetown (in other words he is my polar opposite (conservative/Red Sox/Syracuse)), I wish Noah the best in his travels into an actual combat zone.
