Towers of Stone



When it first was announced that Oliver Stone would be making a movie about the World Trade Center, many conservatives were apoplectic about how what wild yarn he might spin. Perhaps you could excuse us, given Stone's cavalier treatment of history in his previous outings.

But perhaps...just maybe...Stone has made a movie that is free of conspiratorial politics, and is simply true to the heros of 9/11.

The trailer for World Trade Center is now out, and if this short look is true to what the movie is as a whole, it would appear that Stone has indeed gone against our lowest expectations.



Let's hope that he has created a film worthy of remembrance, not of disdain....
