Very Professional Thugs



Ranting Profs (Hat Tip COUNTERCOLUMN) points out how the NYT reverts to form by playing the 'useful idiot' to some ragtag African terrorists. One of the the most egregious acts is how they enable the scumbags by posting an obviously staged photo of them with one of their hostages.



Now why would I say that this is staged? Well, first off, if the armed men were really intent on using their weapons, the dude on the left with the kalashnikov, and the dude on the right with the kalashnikov are fixing to shoot each other. Great tactics.

Second, who the heck holds some one point blank with an Rocket Propelled Grenade? The first thought that ought to jump into mind is "If I shoot this thing, I am going to blow a hole in the bottom of my boat, and we are all croc food!". But then he might want to read the directions and remember that an RPG-7 needs to travel about 30 meters before it arms. Either way threatening someone point blank with an RPG-7 is so ridiculous that it must be staged.

What a professional bunch! You can thank the NYT for legitimizing their run of the mill leftist claim that "They have marginalized us for many years now!"

Boo-Hoo. At least you got a few columns in the times...
