Mon - October 11, 2004ProfileBook on Pentagram coincidentally reviewed at Speak Up
I was just having an after-lunch walk around downtown Bucharest together
with my friend Camil, enjoying the warm weather and the
sunshine when we entered a bookstore on Magheru Blvd, and bang -- I saw Phaidon’s Pentagram: The Compendium and bought it in a
second without even looking in it. I was kind of stuck with the book since
(Actually jumping back and forth between The Compendium and Profile: Pentagram Design, another book on
Pentagram I bought from London -- because online shopping doesn't compare in any
way with real bookstore buying experience. Hints: the textures, the weight, the
strong smell of paper and ink when you open a new book.) and making mental notes
to be used latter for writing a short review when -- what do you know -- Speak
Up posts a review of Profile: Pentagram Design! Oh, well.
